Immerse yourself in a landscape full of rich tulip flowers and goldenrods, which in the new Silky Gang brand collection will transport you like a wave of a magic wand to the baroque world of fashion and artistic icons, Marquise Marguerite de la Sabliére, French Queen Marie Antoinette or Jean La Fontaine. The Cetonia et Tulipa collection offers not only luxurious silk scarves in several sizes, but also embroidered velvet handbags and larger-than-life bug brooches. The scarf illustration is inspired by the opulence of baroque floral pictorial still lifes, illustrations from herbariums and old prints. The motif is dominated by tulips in full bloom and just before it. The whole pattern is then enlivened by beetles, goldflies. In both the viewer and the wearer, the pattern induces a feeling of intoxication by the beauty of flowers in contrast with the abundance of colorful bugs. The illustration was created by Kateřina Coufalová in collaboration with Martina Karafiátová, the founder of the Silky Gang brand. Only 100 pieces of the motif will be printed in this size.
